On Tuesday I had Librarian and it was fun because we were busy and we had a lot of books to put away, I do it with Wariesha I really enjoy doing Librarian because it gives me something to do at lunch time and I love to put books away,return and issue them as well.  I was showing excellence by getting on with putting all of the books away.

Yesterday we had Technology at Lincoln Primary and to get there we go on a bus, the bus that I went on was good noise wise but some people were noisy but others were just talking to the person next to them, At Technology I am in the cooking group and we made a Hangi, It was YUM.I was showing Respect on the bus because I was Respecting the bus.

On Friday the 1 of April I had Kapa Haka it was fun because we were practicing on what we were going to do for festival that  we have an Hon castle arena. I really enjoy going to Kapa Haka because we always learn something new when we go every Friday. I was showing active thinking because I was focused on what they were saying and telling use to do.

My Argument

For writing we have been learning to write an argument using the writing process. The topic was “Are Devices Taking Over Our Lives”.

Something I did really well in my writing was… That i had a lot of ideas so i could expand one idea and link them together and i have highlighted some words that are better than saying AND.

Here is a section of my writing that shows this.

Another reason is, That kids spend 53 hours a week on devices and are spending more time on devices than adults are at work YIKES!!, but that is going to increase when kids are at High school which means that they will have more work to do at High school.  It should be that adults are spending more time on devices than kids but kids spend more time on devices. NOT GOOD!,  For  instance, Kids should only be doing homework on devices not games,Personally  I think, that the more devices we buy the more stores make so we should stop buying devices so stores stop making them.

2 weeks ago I had Kapa Haka I am in the performance group for it and it is very enjoyable because we learnt some new action's for the Tai Tapu song the teachers that take it are Mr Brown and Mrs baker they are very nice teachers, I have it every Friday. I was showing active thinking because I was actively thinking on what to do.

Getting Involved Merit post # 3

Yesterday I was getting involved by playing a game with my friends Jade,Brook and Candice and it was called who's shoe. So at school we have a clock painted on the concert and so someone will stand in the middle of the clock and they will spin around and the other people will walk around the out side of the clock and the person will close they eyes wail they are spinning around in the middle of the clock and when the person in the middle of the clock says stop then everybody on the outside of the clock will stop and put there foot on the closest number on the clock and then the person in the middle of the clock will find someone's foot and they will have a feel of the foot and then they will guess whose foot it is and if they get it right then that person will be out and then they carry on until there is a winner, After that the person who got out first they will be the person who is in the middle. I was showing respect because I was respecting other ideas.

RUN BIKE RUN Merit post #2


2 weeks ago we had the Kauri Run Bike Run I was unable to do it
but I still helped out by making sure that they hoped on the bikes 
after the line and I also had to make sure that there helmets were
done up rite and clipped in. I really enjoyed doing that because I 
like helping out with things that I can help out with. I was showing
Respect because I was respecting other people's bike's when I was 
moving them.
