Drama Improvisation Term 1

WALT: apply the techniques of improvisation to a range of different scenarios.

Improvisation techniques that I have used successfully are,..... Making random things up on the spot and not having a script.

Improvisation techniques that I would like to have more practice at… the name rap because it is hard to rap someones name.

The thing that I enjoyed most about this unit of learning was… That we got to act out things because… I like acting out things.

The thing that I found most challenging during this unit of learning was… the game name rap because… It was hard to rap someone's name.

My favorite improve game was…the ABC game because.. I like how you had to start your sentences with A then the next person start's with B.

My next step/ something I need to work on further  in improvisation is… to try and make the story funny so that it is hard for my partner not to laugh because….. I would like to see if they laugh or not/ see there reaction.

Term 1 Integrated Learning - Leadership

We have been learning all about What makes a good leader.

Here is a link to the Leadership modelling book.

We identified that good leaders show 6 main character traits. These are… Integrity, Trustworthy, Resilient, Goal focused, Active thinker, Motivational.

The leadership trait that I think I show the most is…… Trustworthy because… My friends always trust me to do some thing for them and to listen and not judge their ideas.

The leadership trait I would most like to develop is…… Motivational because… My friends sometimes get stuck so I can motivate them to believe in themselves.

Something NEW I have learned about leadership is…… That leadership is a skill of being able to motivate teams/ people to work towards a goal.

The SOLO level that I reached during this unit of learning is… Relational because... I am able to compare and contrast the traits of different leaders.

My next step in learning about leadership is to apply everything that I have learned about leadership to my own leadership roles.

Today I was getting  involved because I was playing a game of Netball at lunch time with  Monique, Candice and Sam W and it was very fun, after when we had enough of it we play king it is a netball shooting game. I was being Resilient because i was bouncing back when the ball didn't get into the hoop.

Year ⅞ - I can use appropriate skills and technologies to find and use a range of texts for specific purposes.

For my “Evaluating Leaders” research I have been researching about… Richie McCaw and Taylor Swift.

During this unit I have had to use a range of strategies to find the information I needed on Google. This includes: Cross-checking, Research, Referencing.

List strategies you used here some key words that I used were strengths, achievements and leader.

I have achieved this goal because… I am able to cross-check and reference my work

My next step is to set a new reading goal.

On Monday I had Peer mediation with Milan and we had no problems to solve which was good that means that everybody was playing safely and having fun. I could see that there were a lot of people getting involved in a game with other people. The leadership qualities that I showed were  Active thinker   because I was doing my duty on time right time right place.
